Its been known for years that this horrible affliction is common among LFS racers, and now it seems that finnish LFS phenomenon oxygene has fallen victim to the disease as well.
We bring you an exclusive excerpt from the teamnic chatroom, clearly showing the horrific side-effects:

LFS-itis claims yet another victim.We are told that oxygenes friends and family have been notified, to help him through this time of crisis.
We have attempted to get a comment on the situation from the people responsible, the developers of the popular racing sim LFS, but all have declined to comment on the affair. |

| teamnic lives again? |

Rumous on the interwebs lately have suggested that a re-launch of legendary LFS team "teamnic" may be in the works.Not much is known about this project at this point, as the old teamnic members are keeping a tight lid on information.Indeed, when former teamnic member oxygene (aka ox0r, oxy, cocky) was asked about this very subject recently, the only response he offered was somewhat strange.
" there are absolutely no plans of a re-launch of teamnic, and any attempts to suggest this are irresponsible".
Clearly, what at first would seem like a definite no, is no more than a weak attempt at creating hype about the project.At least such a reply would seem somewhat unlikely of there was absolutely no substance in the teamnic project.
Other members, when asked, have offered less suspect replies, which leads us to think that oxygene is the driving force behind the project, and it is quite likely that he is the person who leaked information on the interwebs.
What are those rumours then? Well, during our search, and hidden deep within the interwebs, we found information suggesting that legendary LFS driver and german hero, Da_Hoe, would be joining teamnic in the near future.If that info is true it would surely boost teamnics hopes of becoming an elite team in LFS again.However when asked these rumours, Da_Hoe was adamant that he knew nothing of these plans.
" Sorry, Im too busy with werk atm, and my child takes up the rest of my spare time.My plan is to start playing LFS again in 2014, at which time I would be happy to join teamnic."
Fascinating.It seems that real life has caught up with the german legend, and we wish him all the best and await his return to LFS S3 in 6 years time.

Its that time of year again.The world renowned racers of teamnic meet to test their mettle on the track to determine who gets the bragging rights.Who gets to be worshipped by thousands of lovely young teenage girls, who scream at the mere sight of their champion.
MrAss has had that honour the past year, but with both new and old nic racers hunting for glory...

| Teamnic.com news section strike finally ends |

The reporters working for teamnic.com finally reach agreement with the team management. Soon after teamnic's second birthday the reporters started questioning the absence of any raises in their salary for their excellent two-year contribution to writing about the events considering our team.
The new deal includes no new benefits for reporters. The team management's first reaction to the strike was to lash the reporters until they'd agree to work 50 percent more hours. After a near-death case of a reporter management started playing time and demanded only 25 percent more hours, but finally had to back off as one of the reporters found some personal photos of some of the founder members.
In light of this resolution, news of teamnic's (near enough) conquest of the Masters of Endurance series will be up shortly.

Bit late in the day really, but teamnic is 2 today. Formed on June 26th 2003, shortly before the release of LFS S1. The 2 years have been very succesful for the team, and have seen the team grow, and go from strength to strength. We are also one of the oldest teams in current form (i.e same name etc) in LFS.
